Same vision of an easy-to-wear urban wardrobe, same quest for effortless sophistication, same shared passion for the fluidity of materials... We are of course talking about UNIQLO, which has embodied the expression of the impeccable silhouette since 1984. with its well-cut basics, made from beautiful materials that last.

And Clare Waight Keller, one of the most inspiring stylists of this era, known for her work as artistic director of the Chloé and Givenchy houses.

It was last fall that UNIQLO decided to entrust the British designer with the creation of an entire line for women called “UNIQLO: C”.

Made up of around thirty pieces with an impeccable look: blazers, trench coats, oversized sweaters, pleated skirts... success is immediate.

Far from a one-night stand, the collaboration between these two fashion bigwigs is turning into a long-term story with the launch of this new spring-summer collection, available from February 22.

A collection inspired by London lifestyle

For this line, the English designer drew on the wardrobe and lifestyle of the artists of Lavender Hill, south of London.

A neighborhood where countryside and urban life intertwine, inspiring light and adaptable basics that devilishly echo our need for proximity and connection.

The idea behind the UNIQLO collection: C?

Imagine clothes that are both functional and stylish (which shows that the two are not incompatible), which match perfectly and can be worn day or night, on the weekend or at the office.

The ideal wardrobe in short, from which you pick without thinking as the pieces are infinitely coordinateable.

This is Clare Waight Keller's talent: managing to capture the energy of the beautiful seasons in relaxed cuts, airy materials and a chromatic palette that is always refined and vibrant (poppy red, powder pink, sapphire blue).

A safe bet, the trench coat confirms its status as a fashion icon, available here in a military green version which has the good taste to go with all outfits.

Wear it nonchalantly over a long pleated dress with straps in a subtle play on layering.

Or more assertive with wide pants for a calibrated silhouette.

A guarantee of chic, the suit jacket available in beige, black and gray stands out in a

version with a transparent blouse, for example, or more casual on an oversized cotton t-shirt or an open shirt.

For a feminine touch, we opt for the gathered short-sleeved blouse, perfect for twisting a silhouette.

As for accessories, the essential nylon fanny packs, checkered poplin baseball caps, large faux leather shopping bags... play the game without overdoing it, transforming a rather minimalist look into a sharp outfit.

Highly anticipated, the second part of the UNIQLO: C collection will be unveiled on April 4.
