Some technicians responsible for the work on the construction site of the collapse of Florence have been interviewed in recent days by the judicial police and, according to what emerges, they have now been questioned as people informed about the facts, that is, as witnesses interviewed for initial information.
This was learned on the sidelines of the investigation conducted by the Florentine prosecutor's office for multiple manslaughter and manslaughter on the structural failure of Via Mariti which caused five deaths and three serious injuries on 16 February.
It is not excluded that other technicians will be interviewed in the near future and that they will be questioned again as the investigation continues.
Their reports as people informed of the facts are collected by the judicial police bodies, including the ASL Toscana Centro with the Department for the Prevention of Accidents at Work, and are made available to the investigation opened by the prosecutor's office.
Furthermore, prosecutors could organize more technical assessments on structural failure, but it will still take time to entrust the tasks to consultants.
This is what we learned on the sidelines of the investigation.
An expert opinion will concern the state of the beam that gave way, subsequently causing the collapse of the floors below, the five victims and three injured people.
Finally, the technical assessments, according to what emerges, could also concern other aspects of the construction.
