In addition to Steffen Jacobsen and Jens Henrik Jensen, whose “Oxen” series will soon be shown on television, the best-known representatives of the Danish crime scene include the best-selling author Jussi Adler-Olsen.
His successful series about Carl Mørck and Hafez el-Assad have written their way into the hearts of readers in recent years.
The tenth and final volume in the series, “Betrayed,” will be published in March.
Readings are canceled due to illness.

Carl Valdemar Jussi Henry Adler-Olsen, better known as Jussi Adler-Olsen, was born on August 2, 1950 in Copenhagen.
His academic career was diverse and included studies in medicine, sociology, political history and film.
Before entering the literary world in 1995, he gained professional experience in various fields.
Among other things, he worked as an editor for magazines and comics, coordinated the Danish peace movement and ran the Bonnier weekly “TV Guiden”.
He also chaired the supervisory boards of various energy companies and devoted his free time to renovating old buildings.
He celebrated his international breakthrough with his thriller series about the character Carl Mørck and the novels “The Alphabet House”, “The Washington Decree” and “Takeover”.
These works secured him a place on international bestseller lists.
His books, published in 42 countries, have received numerous awards.
