Lady Gaga is making her comeback... in a video game.
The 37-year-old singer announced the arrival of her character in the game
Fortnite
.
Thursday February 22, during an online festival, she will give a virtual concert.
A first for Gaga but not for
Fortnite,
which has already featured an array of celebrities in recent years.
“What’s Fortnight?”
To announce the news, Lady Gaga chooses the second degree and responds to her own post, dating from October 2019. She corrects her spelling mistake made on the name of the game, also sharing a photo of her fictional character created especially for the 'occasion.
The official Fortnite festival account was quick to comment on the news:
“You've been asking for this for years.
[...] Lady Gaga is our featured artist for season 2 of the Fortnite festival.
Tremble!”
Last week, still as part of the second edition of the festival, video game fans were able to discover, in preview, the music video for
Popular
, a title by The Weeknd, Playboy Carti and Madonna.
