Russian President Vladimir Putin would have ended his alleged flight aboard a Tu-160M hypersonic strategic bomber announced earlier by the Kremlin: the official Russian news agency Ria Novosti writes it, according to which the "Ilya Muromets" bomber would have landed on runway of an aeronautical plant in Kazan approximately 30 minutes after take-off.

The Kremlin spokesman called the route "a military secret" and said the Russian president's preparation for the flight would last about 45 minutes.

The flight was announced by Moscow less than a month before the Russian presidential elections and two days before February 24, which this year will mark two years since the start of the military aggression against Ukraine which further deteriorated already tense relations between Russia and the West.

The upgraded Tu-160М strategic missile bomber - NATO code name 'Blackjack' - may enter service with the Russian armed forces.

President Vladimir Putin stated this at the end of his test flight aboard the plane, which is capable of carrying nuclear warheads.

"I will reiterate what I have already said to the commander of the plane and to the leaders of the Ministry of Defense: it can certainly enter service in the Armed Forces," Putin said, quoted by Tass, describing the plane as reliable.

Medvedev: 'Maybe we will get to Kiev'.

Then he attacks Navalnaya: 'Now he has a political career'

Russian troops could push as far as Kiev, "if not now, then at another stage in the development of this conflict."

Former president Dmitry Medvedev said this in an interview with various Russian media, including Tass.

"Regarding Odessa - added Medvedev, current deputy secretary of the National Security Council - I can simply say: Odessa, go home. (...) This is our city, Russian and of Russia".

"Look at the smiling, happy face of Navalny's widow. There is the feeling that she had been waiting for this event all these years to launch her political life in a big way. And she has already said it. All this It's very sad".

This was stated by former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in an interview with the Moscow media.

The spokeswoman for the Navalny team, Kira Yarmysh, posted the video of this statement on

On the statements of the former president of Russia Dmitry Medvedev on the fact that Russian troops could push as far as Kiev "we can simply recommend some counseling and mental assistance, but I am not sure that the Russian state with the billions it wastes in this illegal war against "Ukraine can actually afford to invest something in social and health care for its people."

European Commission spokesman for foreign affairs Peter Stano said this during the press briefing, defining Medvedev as "an eternal number two".

“We normally don't comment on all the strange comments, especially from people who are desperate for attention, especially if they are the eternal number two and although it is nice that this person publicly shares with us the diagnosis about his mental state,” Stano said.

"Regarding Ukraine, I think the Foreign Ministers were very clear this Monday when they met in Brussels that we are determined to continue Ukraine's self-defense against aggression, especially as we are getting closer to the finish line of the two years since the start of the large-scale invasion, therefore the High Representative and the Member States are doing everything possible" to provide as quickly as possible "ammunition, military equipment, air defense, etc., so that Ukraine may ultimately win this war against the aggressor."

EU, 'Navalny case raised at G20, Lavrov silent'

The death of anti-Kremlin activist Alexei Navalny was "put on the table" at the meeting of G20 foreign ministers by some delegations.

However, faced with the comments, Russia, represented at the meeting by the head of diplomacy Serghei Lavrov, "remained silent".

The high representative of the European Union, Josep Borrell, explained this to a small group of international media, responding to a question from ANSA.

New GB sanctions against Moscow for the war in Ukraine

This was reported by the Foreign Office, specifying that the new package specifically targets the military complex under Vladimir Putin's power.
