The Munich Villa Stuck has to be closed for around one and a half years.

Before that there is a week's farewell program.

DJ Lars Eidinger makes the furious start.

That's brave.

Villa Stuck will be closed for one and a half years for renovation work.

And at the start of the farewell week, museum director Michael Buhrs invites Lars Eidinger, of all people.

The actor, known for his excessive party atmosphere, also works as a DJ - and will be allowed to play in the exhibition rooms on February 23, 2024.

Demolition party according to the motto: Now is the renovation going on anyway?

Laughing at Michael Buhrs.

“No, the house should last until March 3, 2024.

And gladly beyond that.” Because until that first Sunday in March, he and his team are offering a pretty casual program.

Lars Eidinger on the turntables is the furious start.

The Toy Tonics label will celebrate the opening of its first Pop Up Gallery on February 23, 2024 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

From then until February 24, 2024, 7 p.m., Villa Stuck will become a Toy Tonics exhibition area.

With photos, posters, designs, illustrations, artwork and installations from more than 30 artists who have worked for the music label over the past seven years.

From 11 p.m. on February 23, 2024, Lars Eidinger and other DJs will ensure the party atmosphere.

The party is scheduled to last until 5 a.m.

So you have seven hours to regenerate before you can visit the show again from 12 p.m. the next day.

Admission free.

“We deliberately left the exhibition architecture of the current Kafka show in place so that the artists could play with it,” explains Buhrs.

The Toy Tonics contributions, for example, mix with the wall texts about Kafka's biography.

Or the bright yellow posters with quotes from the author.

Not only does it rattle musically, the brain also gets a lot of stimulation for the thought disco in the head.
