It's a fashion collaboration that's already making you want summer.
For the second time, the French ready-to-wear brand Balzac Paris is joining forces with the Surfrider Foundation association, specializing in the protection of lakes, rivers, the ocean, waves and the coastline.
From this union is born this time the “Summer” sweatshirt.
A fashion piece made in Portugal and made from 100% cotton, labeled GOTS (
label which certifies dignified working conditions, respect for the environment and quality which does not affect the wearer's health, Editor's note
).
In detail, this round neck sweatshirt stands out with its tangy orange color, the shell-shaped print containing a marine anchor at the bust, as well as its embroidered fish on the sleeve.

A purchase, a donation
“Every year, 8 million tonnes of waste are thrown into the
oceans and 80% of this waste is plastic,” Balzac specifies in an official press release.
And to continue: “Ten years later, the convictions of Balzac Paris remain intact and the brand wishes to continue to raise its voice to engage with associations that are dear to it.”
With this idea of raising even more awareness, each sweatshirt purchased will donate 30 euros to the Surfrider Foundation association.
Enough to get the perfect sweatshirt to proudly adopt when the sunny days arrive, with a clear conscience.

Balzac Paris x Surfrider Foundation
Between Balzac Paris and the oceans, it's a solid love story.
Already in 2021, the entire label team organized a large waste collection with the Surfrider Foundation in Marseille.
Result: 30.7 kilos of waste were removed from the beaches, which was equivalent to 600 meters of collection.
It was also that same year that the association and the brand unveiled the “Ocean” sweatshirt, thanks to which the brand was able to donate 92,580 euros to Surfrider.
