The lawyers of John, Ginevra and LapoElkann have received a mandate to file a complaint against the Marquis Lodovico Antinori, one of the main Italian wine entrepreneurs and a friend of the Agnelli family for many years, as he declared in the interview published today by Il FattoQuotidiano on the front page and 16 with the title 'Marella was forced to Lauenen for houses and inheritances'.
The decision to file a complaint, which is not addressed to the newspaper but concerns only the interviewee - we learn from judicial sources - is based on statements by Antinori which are judged by the lawyers of the Elkann brothers to be false and slanderous.
Antinori, who rented his residence in Saanen, a hamlet of Gastaad, in Switzerland, to Marella Agnelli, claims that the lawyer's widow was forced to leave St. Moritz, a place she loved, to move to Lauenen: "something the boys wanted to take a seat,” he says.
Again according to Antinori, Marella "during the St. Moritz period was close to what the law requires in terms of residence because she actually felt good there and went there, while she didn't in Lauenen, she didn't love it and stayed there two months a year".
In short, claims the Marquis Antinori, "they forced me to go there".
