However, for several days now, thousands of “Swifties”, the name given to fans of American singer Taylor Swift, have been flocking there to snap up products derived from “The Eras Tour”, her sixth world tour.
After being a hit last week in Melbourne three nights in a row in front of 96,000 fans gathered to see their idol - who by her own admission had never sung in front of such a large audience -, superstar Taylor Swift performed from Friday evening a series of four concerts at the Accor Stadium in Sydney, where the final of the Women's Football World Cup was held a few months ago.
