Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last night formally presented to the Security Cabinet for the first time a document of principles on the management of Gaza after the war, with the aim of installing "local officials" not linked to terrorism to administer the Strip at place of Hamas.

The document was published during the night.

The Israeli media reported it.

The text does not name the Palestinian Authority or exclude its participation, but says that civil affairs in Gaza will be managed by "local officials" with "administrative experience", not linked to "countries or entities that support terrorism".

Biden: "The Palestinians suffer from Hamas terrorism"

"The vast majority of Palestinians are not part of Hamas. And Hamas does not represent the Palestinian people. In fact, they too are suffering from Hamas' terrorism. We must be clear about this reality."

US President Joe Biden wrote it on X.
