The 24-hour general strike called by some independent trade unions is underway.
Possible disruptions in public and private services and on means of transport.
The guarantee periods provided are, as usual, from 6am to 9am and from 6pm to 9pm.
The protest was called by Si Cobas, Al Cobas, Organized Metalworkers, General Class Union, Slai Prol Cobas, Self-organised Workers Union, FAO Cobas.
Among the reasons for the strike were wage issues, workplace safety, the war in Ukraine and the situation in Palestine.
