"There is a theme that escapes the debate focused on the rifts between the political forces: the rift between Roman politics and that of the country's periphery, a very dangerous divide between the center and the periphery which borders on institutional clash given the appeals that many are making."
The governor of Liguria Giovanni Toti said this in an interview given to 24mattino-Interviste on Radio24.
"It's a center-periphery split that can be clearly seen from the very tough stance taken by the mayor of Bari De Caro and the president of Anci, who even promises to appeal to the Constitutional Court"
