In the midst of the
invasion of mosquitoes
that has been plaguing the City and the Buenos Aires suburbs for days, a disturbing scene occurred this Friday in a subway station.
It all happened around 5 in the morning, when
an overpopulation of insects appeared at
the Piedras station on line A , originating on the surface.
Due to operational reasons, the opening of the station was delayed.
Emova told
Clarín
that the relevant organizations intervened to normalize the situation and
after 8 o'clock the line was already operating normally.
Photos and videos of the station full of insects, as well as its surroundings, were spread on social networks.
Although many users stated that they were mosquitoes, the authorities had not yet confirmed what type of insects they were.
