Birthdays don't always go as planned.
This year, the Agricultural Show will celebrate its sixtieth anniversary against the backdrop of a deep agricultural crisis.
From the gates of Paris, the rallying point of angry farmers, to the gate of Versailles, there is only one step, and many are already fearing a “
high tension
” celebration.
Those who are older will remember that the history of the show has known others.
Inaugurated in 1964 by Edgard Pisani, the “
commercial showcase
” of French agriculture quickly became the “
sounding board
” for peasant grievances.

The show is a fantastic communication tool for farmers
,” recognizes Jean-Luc Poulain, who has headed the event for sixteen years.
Farmers did not hesitate to take advantage of this highly publicized event to warn of the decline of the French farm and the ever-increasing difficulties of French farmers.
Near the Paris ring road, near the Porte de Versailles, this breeder and his bull are preparing to participate, in March 1967, in the 4th International Agricultural Show.
