"The priority is to protect the family and children."
This is how Chiara Ferragni talks about her relationship with Fedez in an exclusive interview with Corriere della Sera.
The conversation with the influencer dates back to last Tuesday, February 20, when the news of the alleged separation between the two had not yet leaked.
"Anyone in the world can have their say and have their opinions, but for me, rather than giving explanations, it is more important to do what I think is right: to keep problems within family walls," he told journalists in response to questions about lack of presence by his side by the rapper in recent weeks.
In the long interview with the Milanese newspaper, Chiara Ferragni - who that day still had her wedding ring on her finger - addresses the family issue only in a brief passage, when she talks about weekends away from her husband.
"He wasn't there on many weekends. On others, he was there", she says, adding that "anyway, he is my husband".
"In my opinion - she then cuts the subject short -, in certain situations of external chaos, it is better to keep other things within the couple".
The interview then delves into the Pandoro affair in particular, the judicial chaos which is said to be one of the causes of the alleged breakup between wife and husband.
The influencer talks about that December 15th, when she learned the news of the Antitrust investigations and how she faced the wave of comments and criticisms towards her.
She also talks about the apology video and admits that "maybe I should have thought about it more."
"When you're in a media pillory, it seems like all the people are accusing you - he explains -, however, it only takes you to leave the house for a moment to realize that this isn't the case. Since I started going out again, I've never met someone who said 'you're a criminal', but only people who tell me: all this is unfair, you will come out of this with your head held high."
Then there is also space for her story of her life, from her childhood with her parents and sister to the awareness of having achieved "a success greater than the dreams I had".
But also about the "fragility" that she struggles to describe.
"I struggle because - she concludes - if I told you how fragile I feel, I would perceive myself as even weaker, even more vulnerable to attack".
