Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh's chief of staff, Taher Anonu, said reports that Hamas had abandoned some of its demands in negotiations to free the hostages were "Israeli propaganda", and accused Israel of trying to thwart the attempt to reach an agreement.
Haaretz reports it.
According to Anonu, the conditions set by Hamas for an agreement remain the cessation of the war, the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, the lifting of the blockade and the rehabilitation of the Gaza Strip.
