"If things had gone as the invaders believed, this war would have lasted three days. Instead, today we find ourselves in a situation of equilibrium in the conflict, which is the precondition of any diplomatic hypothesis".
This was declared by the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, in Kiev for the second anniversary of the war in Ukraine.
"The game is always the same - he added in a brief press release on the sidelines of a ceremony at Antonov airport -: you cannot exchange an invasion for peace. What you can do is build a balance that allows at a certain point to seek an 'other solution'.
