The accident occurred on Thursday afternoon, around 5 p.m., on National Route 158, near the Córdoba town of Chucul, about 229 kilometers south of the provincial capital.

The couple's car, a BMW, collided with the Mercedes Benz truck, and the two vehicles were left facing each other on the side of the road.

The

The impact was so violent that it took the rescuers time to remove the bodies of the doctor and the clerk.

Both died instantly, due to the force of the impact, and were trapped inside their car.

The driver of the truck, a 54-year-old man, was uninjured.

Ricardo Echegoyen was a gynecologist and María Teresa Aragona was a notary.

These were two people recognized in their respective environments, with extensive experience and work in different professional associations.

The couple from Mendoza had been married for 28 years.

With heartfelt posts on social networks and funeral notices from the newspaper Los Andes, colleagues and directors of the professional entities where they worked fired them.
