Ricardo Echegoyen and María Teresa Aragona died in a tremendous accident when they were traveling in their car through Córdoba.
They had been
married for 28 years
and were recognized in their professional environments.
The accident occurred on Thursday afternoon, around 5 p.m., on National Route 158, near the Córdoba town of Chucul, about 229 kilometers south of the provincial capital.
The couple's car, a BMW, collided with the Mercedes Benz truck, and the two vehicles were left facing each other on the side of the road.
The
poor visibility
due to the intense rain and the
water accumulated
on the route appear as the main factors of the accident, according to police expertise.
The impact was so violent that it took the rescuers time to remove the bodies of the doctor and the clerk.
Both died instantly, due to the force of the impact, and were trapped inside their car.
The driver of the truck, a 54-year-old man, was uninjured.

Ricardo Echegoyen was a gynecologist and María Teresa Aragona was a notary.
These were two people recognized in their respective environments, with extensive experience and work in different professional associations.
The couple from Mendoza had been married for 28 years.
With heartfelt posts on social networks and funeral notices from the newspaper Los Andes, colleagues and directors of the professional entities where they worked fired them.

Aragona,
"Marité"
to those close to her, was former president of the Notarial College of Mendoza, and this year, she was in charge of the secretary of the Superior Council of the entity of Mendoza notaries.
"His charisma and joy will always be our beacon, as well as his tireless work and commitment to colleagues and collaborators in this institution for more than thirty years," highlighted the College of Notaries of Mendoza.
With a black crepe over Aragona's photo, the Federal Council of Argentine Notaries mourned his death and highlighted: "His memory will be an invaluable legacy for our notarial community."
For his part, doctor Echegoyen was one of the partners of the
Santa Rosa private clinic,
one of the main ones in the municipality of Guaymallén, Gran Mendoza.
And he was part of the Gynecology area of the Central Hospital, the main public healthcare center in the Cuyo province.

His time in public health in Mendoza was extensive, both at Health Center 16 and at the Central Hospital of Mendoza, where he retired as Head of the Gynecology Service. We remember him with the affection and professionalism that he knew how to give to each of his patients. See you always, dear Ricardo!" was the message from his colleagues at the Central.
Through the responses, dozens of patients also expressed their pain and shared their memories with their gynecologist.
In the investigations, to try to determine the causes of the accident, criminalistics personnel and firefighters participated.
The case is investigated by the Córdoba Justice Department.
