1. First, get the right equipment.
With a suitable brush and comb you can untangle long hair inside out and untangle matted fur more easily.
2. If you are the proud owner of a particularly fluffy dog, do him a big favor with daily brushing sessions.
Not only do you prevent lumps from forming, but you also promote blood circulation in the skin.
Regular brush strokes also keep your four-legged friend's coat shiny and supple.
3. A nourishing bath with a mild shampoo ensures that skin cells and excess hair are gently removed.
Afterwards, the fur can be easily untangled with a wide-toothed comb.
4. A smooth brush will help you gently comb tangles out of the fur if any should form.
By the way: A visit to a dog groomer is particularly worthwhile for the particularly fluffy fur breeds.
