Increasing turnout in Sardinia for the regional elections in the first survey of the single day of consultations.
At 12pm the percentage of voters reached 18.4% compared to 16.57% five years ago.
A figure that even exceeds that of the 2014 elections when, at the same time, 14.5% of those entitled to vote had voted.
In absolute terms, 266,052 voters out of 1,447,753 voters went to the polls.
In the city of Cagliari alone, the Sardinian capital, 20.51% of those entitled to vote voted.
In 2019 the definitive turnout figure was 53.77%, i.e. 790,709 voters out of 1,470,401 eligible voters.
