The increasing trend in turnout in regional elections in Sardinia is confirmed.
In the second survey of the single day of consultations, at 7pm, the percentage of voters rose to 44.1% compared to 18.4% at 12pm. In 2019 this mid-evening survey was 43.3%.
In the regional capital, Cagliari, 45.78% of those entitled to vote voted.
In absolute terms, 637,851 voters out of 1,447,753 voters went to the polls.
There are some queues at the polling stations which close at 10pm.
