Who among us does not love baked and crispy potatoes?

There are many recipes and options for making a roasted potato - whether whole or cut, but one man, who posts on Tiktok under the name "Meals with Max" managed to make the network crazy with a recipe he uploaded to Tiktok in which he revealed how easy it is to make delicious potatoes with very little oil - and 10.7 million people have already watched and started drooling.

While trying not to drool while studying the recipe, viewers declared that the unusual creation looks "special" and is actually an impressive take on a baked apple, but without the skin - and instead has a crispy and appetizing outer shell.

So what is this actually about?

In his video, Max said: "I'm sure you've all eaten a baked potato in the oven, but have you ever eaten a huge baked potato? It's basically like a baked potato, but without the skin. So it's basically a baked potato, but it's just huge."

Here is the recipe

He started by boiling the peeled potato in salted water with some rosemary, thyme and garlic for 10-15 minutes.

He then explains: "Strain it, let it steam while it sits in the covered pot, and when it dries, shake it a little in the pot," while sprinkling it with salt and oil and putting it in an air fryer (a frying pan without oil or a ninja grill), but says You can also use the oven.

"Put it in an air fryer or in the oven for about half an hour at about 200 degrees," he explained.

When he took the boiled potato out, you could see the crispy golden coating.

You can stop right here and eat the potato this way, with butter or any other light seasoning, but wait, this is where the (unkosher) corruption begins.

To make the potato more festive, Max cooked some "Moses in a box" (but in the British version where these are mini sausages wrapped in bacon) and then covered the potato in butter and grated cheese (cheddar and mozzarella).

He then placed his "Moses in the Box" on top and seasoned it.

"As you can see, the bottom is nice and crispy, just like a roast potato. On top you put some cheese, some salt, pepper and garlic for seasoning, moshe in the box (in the British version), a little honey followed by some rosemary, thyme and some meat sauce" (Traditional English Sauce ancient, thickened and seasoned based on meat juices and Nigerian vegetables during grilling), he concluded.

His viewers were amazed, with one commenting: "You've created something special, man," while another claimed: "My mouth is literally salivating."

However, she is others who were not closed about his choice of add-ons.

One woman wrote: "I liked it - until you added cheese... with meat sauce," and another agreed with her: "Honey? Sauce??"

she wondered and added a shocked emoji.

Then came the food critics

, photographer and food journalist Nathan Hattenspiller from thekitchn magazine devoted an entire article to the recipe under the title "I tried the viral roasted potato that has 10 million views and I will never cook a potato any other way".

After trying the recipe himself, he wrote: "I don't say things like this often, but this might be the best baked potato I've ever had. Of course, there are some adjustments and improvements that could be made to bring this recipe directly to my personal taste, but along with This - I would never have thought to load up on my Moses in a Box baked potato, so I have to give Max the ultimate credit for that decision. I loved the golden brown color of the potato right out of the oven and the crispy outer edges were absolutely perfect with every bite .

"I seriously can't think of any problems with this recipe other than personal preferences in ingredients."

He writes and adds that "next time I will definitely use a different type of sausage instead of the mash in his box, and I'm also curious to see how other types of potatoes and other combinations of sauces would work out. Even though this recipe didn't call for it, I couldn't help but think I was missing a tablespoon Sour cream and some chopped chives on top to round everything off perfectly."
