Who would have thought a few years ago that cold porridge would become a real trend?

So you see again: good marketing is half the battle, after all, “Overnight Oats” sounds super fancy and urban.

But let's be honest, it's not just the name that speaks for this delicious breakfast, but also the minimal effort and taste.

Overnight oats are super versatile, inexpensive and can be prepared in your sleep.

From now on, breakfast grumpy people no longer have an excuse – sorry!

That's how it's done:

You may have the ingredients for the peanut banana oats at home:

  • Banana Peanut Overnight Oats:

  • 80 g ripe banana

  • 60g oat flakes

  • 30g flax seeds

  • 180 ml plant milk

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)

  • Ganache:

  • 40 ml coconut milk

  • 10 g chocolate, dark

  • 40 g peanut butter

  • Topping:

  • banana 

  • peanuts

And your chocolate breakfast is ready so quickly:

  • For the banana-peanut oats:

    Mash the ripe banana with a fork.

    Pour the puree into a sealable screw-top jar.

    Add oat flakes, flaxseed, maple syrup and plant milk and mix.

    Put aside.

  • For the ganache:

    Place coconut milk, chocolate and peanut butter in a bowl and heat in the microwave or over a water bath until the chocolate melts.

    Stir and pour over the oat flakes.

  • Close the container tightly and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.

  • Decorate with banana slices and chopped peanuts before eating.

  • Zack – done!

  • For fruit fans we have a blueberry almond version:

    • Blueberry overnight oats:

    • 150g yogurt

    • 80g oat flakes

    • 2 tbsp chia seeds

    • 50 ml plant milk

    • 40 g almond sticks

    • 100 g blueberry



      topping:

    • Blueberries

    • Almond sticks

    Stir together quickly and enjoy the next morning:

  • For the blueberry oats:

    Place yogurt, oat flakes, chia seeds, almond sticks and blueberries in a sealable screw-top jar.

    Mix, screw the lid on the container and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.

  • Decorate with blueberries and almond slivers before serving.

  • So delicious!
