National Meteorological Service (SMN)

issued this Sunday a

yellow level alert

for the provinces of Santa Fe, Córdoba, Entre Ríos, Jujuy, Salta, Mendoza, La Pampa, Neuquén, Río Negro and Chubut.

In the latest update of the early warning system, the meteorological agency issued the "yellow" alert for storms for the entire province of Río Negro, the east of Chubut and Neuquén and the south and center of La Pampa and Mendoza.

The same alert applies to the south and center of Santa Fe, west of Entre Ríos and east of Córdoba, while in the north of the country it affects the west of Salta and Jujuy.

According to the government entity, the area will be affected by storms, some locally strong, which will be accompanied by intense gusts and occasional hail.

avoid outdoor activities;

do not take shelter near trees and electricity poles that may fall;

This Sunday, the AMBA region will have a maximum temperature of between 26° and 27°, and it will be partially cloudy, with a predominant wind from the East sector.

But, the warning comes for this Monday when a sharp drop in temperature is marked - with a maximum of 22° - and locally heavy rains, which would begin this morning.
