“We were all in tears”
“Recently, my husband and I and some friends saw a wonderful French film called
Une belle cours
,” Barbra Streisand began, summarizing the film's plot: A 92-year-old woman hires a taxi to take her home of retirement.
She emphasizes the “incredible actress” playing this emotionally charged role: “at the end of this film, we were all in tears because it was very moving and insightful about how you can establish a deep connection with someone. 'one simply by telling the truth.'
Barba Streisand finished her tribute to Line Renaud saying that this film had reminded her how much she loved cinema.
