The Treasury product designed for retail investors closed its first day with subscriptions of over 6.44 billion and almost 211 thousand contracts.
A value that exceeds both the 4.76 billion recorded starting in October and the 5.43 billion of last June.
The bond has a duration of six years, offers a coupon of 3.25% in the first three years and 4% in the remaining three, with a premium of 0.7% for those who hold it to maturity which brings the average annual return to 3.74%.
The placement will continue until 1pm on Friday, unless it closes early.
