Drying flowers is nothing new.
But preserving the flowers decoratively in an old preserving jar excites the TikTok community.
A fresh bouquet of flowers radiates joy of life and puts you in a good mood.
But no matter what efforts you make, after a while the flowers droop and dry up.
But then you don't have to dispose of the bouquet in organic waste, but you can give it a second life.

With the caption "Don't give her flowers, they'll just end up in the trash," @dumbblondebich0 captures on TikTok what she does with a bouquet of flowers after it has faded.
The video, which is only twelve seconds long, already has over 2.8 million views and 576,000 likes.
You can see various preserving jars that contain colorful, dried flowers.
The video suggests that the young American picked the dried flowers and put them in the jars.
You can see mainly roses, but also chrysanthemums and dahlias.
The daisy flowers are known for looking particularly pretty even when dried.
While it's not clear exactly how @dumbblondebich0 does it, it's likely that she allows the bouquets to dry out completely (either on their own or by hanging them upside down) and then carefully plucks them off, flower by flower.
The more colorful the bouquet, the better they will ultimately look in the preserving jar.
You can then use them to decorate kitchen units, shelves or tables, for example.

Perennials and grasses can also be dried easily and preserved.
Just like lavender or snowwort, which hardly lose any of its shape or color when dried.
