The abbreviated trial for AlbertoGenovese, the former web entrepreneur already definitively sentenced to 6 years and 11 months in prison for having drugged and raped two girls and now accused in a second line of investigation centered on further accusations, including episodes of sexual abuse against two other young people which were allegedly committed with the same pattern, i.e. with the use of cocaine.
The judge Chiara Valori admitted the request for the alternative procedure, which provides for a reduction of one third of the sentence, conditional on the acquisition of documents, in particular the reports on the clinical and therapeutic path undertaken to detoxify from cocaine.
The same request advanced by both Sarah Borruso, the ex-girlfriend, also already convicted, and still involved, according to the prosecutors, in some cases of abuse, and by Daniele Leali, the entrepreneur's former right-hand man who only responds by hindering the justice and drug sales in the now well-known TerrazzaSentimento parties.
The man will make interrogation.
Genovese, in prison to serve his sentence and who is agreeing a plea deal for alleged tax evasion, was also charged with obstruction of justice and possession of child pornography in this part of the investigation.
"I expect justice to be done in a calm manner and away from the spotlight," said his defender, Salvatore Scuto.
Gianmaria Palminteri, the woman's lawyer, instead said that her client "lives her life", adding that she has "trust" in the judiciary.
