Highlights: Bob Marley: One Love (Eagle), the biopic film on the Jamaican myth, directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green is first in the Cinetel ranking for the weekend. In second place was the success of Jonathan Glazer's The Zone of Interest (I wonder), which was also released over the weekend and grossed 773 thousand euros. In total, cinema takings from 23 to 26 February are close to 7 million euros (6,795,808), with a good +41% compared to the previous weekend.

Bob Marley: One Love (Eagle), the biopic film on the Jamaican myth, directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green as well as at the American box office, is first in the Cinetel ranking for the weekend, exceeding 1 million 207 thousand euros with an excellent average per theater.


Supervised by the reggae star's son, Ziggy, who produced it together with Brad Pitt with his Plan B, Bob Marley: One Love, the film also captivates for the mimetic interpretation of the protagonist Kingsley Ben-Adir.


In second place was the success of Jonathan Glazer's The Zone of Interest (I wonder), which was also released over the weekend and grossed 773 thousand euros: awarded at Cannes and beyond, the film about the 'banal' life of the director of the concentration camp in Auschwitz Rudolf Höss, runs in five categories at the Oscars, including best film.

Another arthouse film competing for the statuettes (two, including best film) holds out for third place: the melancholy romantic Past Lives by Celine Song (Lucky Red) which adds 703 thousand euros and exceeds 2 million in two weeks.


In total, cinema takings from 23 to 26 February are close to 7 million euros (6,795,808), with a good +41% compared to the previous weekend and a good 18% over the same period in 2023.


In fourth place and new entry , Emma and the Black Jaguar (01 distribution), the new film by Gilles De Maistre set in the Amazon, which grossed 570 thousand euros.

In fifth place is the Japanese anime Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba (Eagle) with more than 482 thousand euros.

With the weekend's takings, 446 thousand euros and sixth place in the top ten, Poor Creatures!

by Yorgos Lanthimos (Disney) exceeded 8 million euros in 5 weeks.

Seventh place for the American horror Night Swim directed by Bryce McGuire (Universal) with 425 thousand euros in four days.

Eighth position, and first Italian in the ranking, for Giovanni Veronesi's film Romeo e' Giulietta (Vision/Universal) which adds approximately 366 thousand euros for a total of 1 million 136 thousand.

Ninth is Madame Web by SJ Clarkson (Eagle), from Marvel comics with a box office of 279 thousand euros and a total of 1 million 199 thousand.

Margherita Buy's directorial debut, Volare (Fandango), closes in 10th place, with 243 thousand euros.
