The palette is cold and vibrant: black dominates, combined with shades of mauve, ultraviolet, jade green, gray that cross the firmament in winter when the sun has already set.
It is the make-up created by Hiromi Ueda, Global Makeup Artist Armani, for the Emporio Armani Autumn-Winter 2024/25 fashion show at Milan Fashion Week.

Capturing a chromatic sensation to translate it into shapes, into surface movements, into a sparkle of flashes: this is how this collection was born, a tribute to a luminous night sky, studded with stars, governed by a shining moon.
And the work of the make-up artist originally from Japan, who grew up professionally in London, was on these 'Night Glows'.
"The show's makeup look is inspired by the collection's stunning jewel color palette. A bold eye look is paired with a natural, luminous skin tone to create contrast and dimension. The light refracts onto the eyes, illuminating them with an iridescent silver, like a hypnotic sea under the night sky. Delicate pink lips give a touch of soft elegance to complete the make-up", said Hiromi Ueda.
Winter flowers in make up
“The make-up of the Giorgio Armani Autumn/Winter 2024/25 show evokes the charm of the 1960s, with a modern twist.
Taking inspiration from the winter flowers present in the collection and the promise of new beginnings, I created - explained Hiromi Ueda - a delicate beauty look, which comes in a radiant complexion and a tone-on-tone palette.
The focus on the gaze expresses a sense of romanticism, with a floral reference that is found in the pictorial black and the sparkling white."
