Highlights: Jeanne Herry's film was crowned best high school César film. It follows La Nuit du 12 by Dominik Moll. Anatomy of a Fall (8 awards including best film), Junkyard Dog (best actor) and The Animal Kingdom (best photo, best visual effects and best music original) The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday March 20, 2024 in the Grand amphitheater of the Sorbonne. The prize was awarded by an electoral body of 2,286 Terminale students from 97 general, technological and vocational high schools.


The award, created in 2019, recognized Jeanne Herry's film on restorative justice. It follows La Nuit du 12 by Dominik Moll.

The prize was awarded by an electoral body of 2,286 Terminale students from 97 general, technological and vocational high schools, located throughout the metropolitan territory, but also in Mexico, Milan and Tokyo, thanks to the participation of French establishments in the stranger.

Nicole Belloubet, Minister of National Education and Youth, and Elisabeth Tanner, Secretary General of the Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques opened the envelope containing the name of the winner on Monday February 26.

The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday March 20, 2024 in the Grand amphitheater of the Sorbonne.
