In addition to salad tomatoes and Roma tomatoes, cherry tomatoes are among the most popular types of tomatoes.
Their usually very sweet fruits and their suitability as a healthy mini snack are certainly one reason for this.
Conveniently, not only do they taste good, they are often easy to grow.
The small fruits ripen more quickly and, in contrast to meter-high beef tomato bushes, the plants can also be placed on the balcony or in a large pot.

The quality and yield of the fruit nevertheless remain very good.
