Discover the role of milk and its derivatives in the diet of athletes also through the testimony of Giuliano Razzoli, alpine skier specializing in special slalom and gold medalist at the XXI Winter Olympic Games, debunking false myths and fake news.

This is the objective of the training course for journalists promoted by the dairy sector of the Alliance of Agri-food Cooperatives which will be held in Rome on 13 March.

This is the culmination of a journey promoted as part of the three-year project Think Milk, Taste Europe, Be Smart", to offer food for thought on the benefits of these products. The course, 'Milk and derivatives in the diet of athletes: false myths, consumption, benefits and opportunities', accredited by the Order of Journalists with the release of 2 training credits, is aimed at all those who in their professional activity are interested in nutrition, health and eating styles in relation to sports practice.


    "Training, in first of all to those who hold the power and responsibility to transmit, it is an important stage of our campaign, in order to provide those fundamental tools to understand the entirety and complexity of the supply chain", explains Giovanni Guarneri of the Alleanza Dairy Sector of Agri-food Cooperatives; he will also be a speaker of the course with a focus on the specificity of the cooperative system, with over 600 cooperatives, 13 thousand employees and 17 thousand associated stables.

Among other interventions, the journalist Elisabetta Esposito on the fake news phenomenon that is all the rage online, especially on the subject of diets and food plans.

Doctor Elisabetta Bernardi, however, will support through scientific evidence the actual role of dairy products within a balanced diet oriented towards sports practice.

She then makes room for the direct testimony of those who practice sport at a professional level and include dairy products in their food plan with the intervention of Giuliano Razzoli.
