An air stewardess with French citizenship was recorded on a duty free closed circuit camera smashing alcohol bottles worth about NIS 7,000 on Wednesday last week at Fiumicino Airport in Rome.
According to a publication in the world media, the flight attendant started smashing the bottles after she was fired by an unknown airline.
The footage shows her breaking bottles of wine, gin and Aperol.
The duty free floor was painted red
The incident happened in front of shocked passengers, who made their way to the boarding gates after passing the security check.
The suspect went berserk after learning, as written, that her airline would not renew her employment contract.
The video also shows all the liquid spilled from the bottles, which stained the duty free floor red, alongside broken bottle glass.
Police officers on the spot arrested the flight attendant who was fired before she could cause further damage, and a complaint was filed against her for causing damage and injuring another employee.
