All new computerized tomography scans allow for a reduction in examination times, radiation doses, contrast medium doses, an increase in exploratory capacity and resolution, with consequent greater efficiency and the possibility of recognizing even very early and/or advanced diseases. asymptomatic phase.

"The provision of magnetic resonance imaging is the other point of excellence of the Centre", underlines the Dermopathic Institute.

The new MRIs are systems characterized by a much higher tunnel, therefore usable by everyone, completely digitalised, supported by the use of Artificial Intelligence for the optimization of examination times and for the production of morphological and functional examinations.

A fully equipped breast area has also been created within the new centre.

The updating of the equipment also affected traditional radiology.

The President of the Luigi Maria Monti Foundation, Father Giuseppe Pusceddu, underlined how "innovation and updating of the means that we can make available to medical staff are part of the tradition of this structure. Being at the forefront of technological solutions and medical equipment, in fact, is written in the DNA of this hospital which for over 110 years has always put the patient and their health at the centre."

"The significant technological investment - states in this regard the managing director of the Luigi Maria Monti-Idi Irccs Foundation, Alessandro Zurzolo - was also accompanied by a strengthening of the staff which was enriched with the arrival of new professionals and can thus count on 22 radiologists, 21 radiology technicians and 9 nurses. The center therefore represents an important resource available to the territory, being able to contribute with a wide range of quality services to the known needs of diagnostic tests".

"We are particularly proud - states the President of the Rome Foundation Franco Parasassi - to support the project of the Immacolata Dermopathic Institute for the purchase of latest generation diagnostic devices. This contribution demonstrates our concrete commitment to initiatives with a strong social impact for the community".

"The Dermopathic Institute of the Immacolata - stated the president of the Lazio Region, Francesco Rocca - is an excellence not only in the treatment of skin diseases, but also of other pathologies and in research. This is demonstrated by this impressive investment which has completely renewed the Diagnostic Imaging department. In over 110 years of history, the IDI continues to be an irreplaceable point of reference for our Region, putting the patient and their health at the centre."
