"I am confident and optimistic that sooner or later, even in my case, as happened for Rosa and Olindo, the same thing can happen. I have never lost faith in justice, unfortunately we know that justice is long and slow, but the truth sooner or later is brought to light."

It is the excerpt from one of the three letters received by the journalist Marco Oliva in the last month from Massimo Bossetti, definitively sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of thirteen-year-old Yara Gambirasio.

A letter that was discussed, inexclusively, on Telelombardia.

"There are many cases in the news - added Bossetti - which in everyone's eyes have remained full of uncertainties and alternative paths never taken into consideration, but we must not lose faith: it is not for nothing that there is a review body in justice that allows us to examine doubts , anomalies and inconsistencies that were never resolved during the procedural phases at the time of the facts".

Bossetti also revealed a relatively recent passion of his, for which he was rewarded: "I have been participating in culinary competitions dedicated to prisoners for years, in fact for years I have participated in all the competitions displayed in the library: literary, artistic and culinary competitions. I simply participate to make it less burdensome the useless passing of time making it more constructive" writes Bossetti in one of his letters.

"At home I didn't have all this time available like today since I was very busy with my construction company and the main person who cooked was my wife. I called the recipe with which I participated in the 'Cooks Inside' competition 'Sgranellaalle walnuts with apples and lemon '; the choice to create this dessert was based on the ingredients I had at my disposal, making it appreciable and rewarded in the judgment of the competition jury."

For the recipe, the former bricklayer from Mapello specified, 250g of white flour, eggs, sugar, 3 large apples, 200g of walnuts, yeast, lemon juice and zest are needed.

Marco Oliva, editor-in-chief of Telelombardia, hosts a program dedicated to crime news and for years has had correspondence with Olindo Romano, convicted with his wife Rosa Bazzi for the Erba massacre, and with Bossetti himself.
