Centering the plot on an extraordinary couple, formed by a vengeful prophet and a young rebel as combative as she is incredulous, the filmmaker tells how Paul, a descendant of the Atreides family, massacred by their enemies, the Harkonnens, now lives hidden on the planet Arrakis, from which the precious “spice” is extracted, which is used in particular for interstellar propulsion.
He makes a pact with the Fremen, inhabitants of the planet in struggle with Harkonnen power.
