After the rout of the reds the previous week, it was the yellows who suffered during the episode of “Koh-Lanta: the immunity hunters” broadcast this Tuesday, February 27 on TF1.
With not one, but two adventurers eliminated in their ranks.
The discomfiture started with the comfort test.
A game combining individual performances and collective fate.
Each candidate had to stay as long as possible with a bamboo held by their hands balanced on their head (2m30 for women, 2m60 for men).
The one who resisted the longest would not only offer 3 kg of rice to their team but would also win a clue allowing them to find an immunity necklace.
On the other hand, the two weakest from the losing side should then challenge each other in an elimination duel.
“Me, I swim like an iron”
Very quickly, Nathalie, among the yellows, and Cécile, among the reds, let go of the piece of wood.
More surprisingly, Amri, the 42-year-old boxer considered a strong man, joined the first on the threatened bench after only 35 seconds of the test.
One minute and fifteen seconds later, Mégane completed the group of suspended adventurers.
They had to wait almost 20 minutes to learn their fate, until the valiant William, oldest of the Kadasi at 62 years old and last of his team still in the running, gave up.
Opposite, in the Matukad tribe, Maxime and Ricky lasted seven more minutes.
The last one won.
Despite the defeat, all the yellows sang the praises of William, who arrived during the second episode.
“Since he arrived on the team, he has been quite phenomenal,” said Nathalie.
The 55-year-old single mother then had to face Amri in a blind maze.
A mistake 20 cm from the goal led to her fall and she had to immediately leave the adventure, in tears but grateful to the compliments of her teammates.
On the red side, everything was good for the candidates, since, motivated by the reward, they finally managed to make a fire and were able to enjoy their first hot meal.
Enough to be in shape for the immunity test, a freediving relay.
Mégane, Maxime and Léa were particularly delighted to be able to demonstrate their skills in this area.
Among the yellows, however, the tide has seriously turned for William.
The survival instructor lost a lot of time by doing a butterfly-like swim on his back, which was particularly ineffective, and thus heavily participated in the defeat of his tribe.
“Me, I swim like an iron,” he admitted to the reproaches of others, the admiration of the day before having quickly been forgotten.
Threats and collars
This week's show was also marked by the discovery of several necklaces.
Ricky, first, took advantage of the clue previously recovered and unearthed one hidden in a decorative element of the immunity game.
At the Kadasi camp, all participants engaged in forest research in preparation for future elimination.
Particularly William, the latter having understood that he had become an easy target, in vain.
Pauline also took the plunge – the young cheesemaker was not calm either – with success.
She thus discovered a jewel allowing her to protect herself as well as another candidate of her choice.
Aurélien also had the joy of finding one of the keys.
Unfortunately, this was only valid for the following advice, so not of much use given that this dad from a blended family was absolutely not threatened.
In the end, Pauline was stupid by not using her discovery when it came time to vote since everyone voted against William.
His poor performance in swimming was fatal to him.
“The next events, we will not be able to do them in acrobatic backstroke,” said the carpenter Sébastien to justify his vote.
