This doesn't change anything for you.

Laughing really hard while reading a book would be something.

Especially now in autumn, when the days are getting shorter and the gray weather is a bit stressful.

Recently, Axel Hacke's “About the cheerfulness in difficult times and the question of how important the seriousness of life should be to us” made it to number one in the bestsellers.

And after the success of “Komm zu Nix”, Tommy Jaud is also preparing to challenge the readers’ laughter muscles.

With his new alpaca method.

There are these anti-stress balls that you can knead and throw against the wall when you are acutely tense.

You shouldn't do that with Tommy Jaud's new book.

But it definitely helps reduce stress.

Whether read in one sitting or in short sections, Jaud succeeds in attacking the funny bone.

It starts with a story about his obsession with collecting payback points, which is taken to the most absurd point.

Why does everyone else always do more than you?

Does artificial intelligence have a chance against natural stupidity?

And where the hell did the red pull string on the prince roll go?

You should... Tommy Jaud faces the daily “you should”: He fights for payback points, back muscles, dishwasher aesthetics and mental health.

And with the active help of his wife Nina, neighbor Oski and the British shorthair kittens Fanny and Coucou, he shows: getting bogged down is human, and doing nothing doesn't help either.

In the foreword to the stories, the author, who describes himself as a “vehement joke activist,” points out that much of the book “actually happened.”

This book is recommended to anyone who prefers to plan rather than live.

“You should do it” by Tommy Jaud is the perfect everyday companion and mood-enhancer for in between.

Also a small gift idea for the pre-Christmas period.

It definitely belongs on the color-coded bookshelf and read!

Tommy Jaud

With his debut novel “Vollidiot” Jaud landed at number 1 on the bestseller lists in 2004.

“Two Santa Clauses” was awarded the German Comedy Prize in 2009.

This was followed by the complete idiot novel sequel, "Millionaire" and the travel comedy and "Hummeldumm", the bestseller of 2010. Despite the turbulence of 2022, Jaud fulfilled his entertainment obligations and released "Come to nothing - nothing done and still finished".

Not a novel, but feel-good stories for our time.

The stories are so popular that in 2023 he will follow up with new feel-good stories against planneritis: and “You should have done nothing and still be happy”.

Tommy Jaud is currently working on the script for “Hummeldumm”.

The author, who was born in Franconia, switches between the two beer metropolises of Cologne and Bamberg depending on his mood.
