, but the work is almost completed and the reopening is expected in mid-afternoon.

This was communicated by the Metropolitan City of Genoa, highlighting that "the works continued throughout the night without interruptions with the primary objective of being able to free a lane".

The Municipality of Pieve Ligure today decided to close the schools.

Some people were evacuated and found independent accommodation.

Connections with the upper part of the town are guaranteed by a municipal vehicle. 

More landslides have occurred in the province of Lucca

due to the bad weather affecting Tuscany.

One in particular in Versilia, in the municipality of Massarosa, in via Pietra a Padule,

involved a car: the two people on board, the firefighters explain, were stuck inside

but were not injured.

The landslide completely blocked the road: traffic was restored around 5am. Due to another landslide, in Galligano, in Garfagnana, three families were left isolated.

Also in the Massarosa area, the firefighters intervened due to another large landslide, along Via Sarzanese Sud, with a completely blocked roadway.

Also on the post were the councillor, the civil protection of the Municipality, the Carabinieri of Viareggio and Anas: traffic was restored around 7.30.

Other landslides, the firefighters report, occurred on Monte Quiesa on the Bozzano side, in Pedona and in Levigliani.

Interventions still need to be carried out for trees that have fallen on the road, as explained by the police officers involved last night, again in the province of Lucca, also for a car which went off the road in Via di Colognora in Capannori and overturned in a field: one person was was injured and stuck inside.

The police were also on site as well as the health workers.

A landslide fell on the Cisa state road between Liguria and Tuscany in the Bettola area, between the municipal areas of Santo Stefano Magra and Aulla, where you travel in an alternating one-way direction.

Following the wave of bad weather which led the regional agency for the protection of the Ligurian environment to issue the yellow weather alert, traffic along the provincial road 37 Pontremoli-Zeri-Sesta Godano, in the Lunigiana municipality, has been interrupted since yesterday evening of Zeri, which connects Lunigiana with the Alta Val di Vara.

On Monday evening, provincial road 13 in Montedivalli, in the municipality of Podenzana, also between Lunigiana and Val di Vara, was also closed for investigations.
