Mario Draghi said this while speaking to the presidents of the European Chamber commissions meeting on the competitiveness dossier, on which the former prime minister was tasked with compiling a report.
The exchange showed how global and complex the road ahead is to recover our competitiveness
, particularly in terms of mobilizing the
massive investment needs.
Draghi underlined the need to be competitive to maintain our welfare systems and preserve our fundamental values.
The former prime minister asked to rediscover the ability to act together and for the collective interest.
