In the cinema, there are roles that stick to the skin.
If more than twenty years have passed since the release of the first part of the
Harry Potter
saga , something very “Hermione Granger” still persists in Emma Watson.
On February 25, the British actress was spotted on a street in Milan, where she attended the Prada fashion show a few days earlier.
Except that that day, Emma Watson's look did not go unnoticed by fans of the famous wizard.
Her shoulders covered in a long beige trench coat, she wore a long-sleeved lilac sweatshirt, wide-leg faded jeans and a pair of Adidas Gazelle sneakers.

You don't need to be a Potterhead (
name given to the community of fans of the Harry Potter saga, Editor's note
) to make the link between this look and that worn twenty years earlier by the character of Hermione Granger.
Indeed, in
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
(2004), the best friend of the wizard with glasses is dressed for a large part of the film in an old pink zipped sweatshirt, faded jeans and is wearing sneakers. Adidas leather similar to Gazelle models.

The look, which at the time contrasted with the wizarding robes worn by the characters in the first two films, became iconic of Hermione Granger's wardrobe.
We owe this radical change of costumes to costume designer Jany Temime.
“I had seen the first film in the cinema like everyone else and I found it a bit of a shame that it was so romantic and a bit of a Christmas story,” she spoke on
TF1
on September 2, 2023. And continue: “The little red sweater was over, it was going to be jeans, t-shirts and sweatshirts.”
It is also a way of supporting the transition from childhood to adolescence, a period when young people use clothing as a means of expressing their personality.
It was therefore from the third part of the saga that the cast could dress as they saw fit during certain scenes.
After all this time, Emma Watson's clothing style has changed a lot.
During her recent stay in Italy, the 33-year-old actress and activist focused on the good basics of women's wardrobe.
On February 21, for example, she wore a trenchcoat, moccasins, an unbuttoned striped shirt, a little sweater over her shoulders... And slightly baggy denim, obviously.
