In London, being a Taylor Swift fan can pay off big.

The Victoria and Albert Museum is recruiting a

“superfan”

of the singer to

“rejuvenate its audience”

.

The lucky one will be one of five advisors the museum appoints to

“help learn more about our collection at the V&A (Victoria and Albert Museum) as well as current cultural trends that will inform the future of the museum collection

,” can - we read in the ad.

The other four specialties involve fangs, tufting, drag and emojis.

This announcement precedes Taylor Swift's European tour, which will be in London twice, from June 21 to 23 and August 15 and 17.

The aim is therefore to obtain information

“on the culture and crafts around friendship bracelets and souvenirs”

which concern the singer.

As the position is vacant, the successful candidate will be paid on a mission basis and will receive an annual V&A membership card.

The museum will also cover

“travel costs for the conservation meeting.”

... On social networks, fans reacted to this astonishing job offer.

However, this is not the first time that a position has been offered to Taylor Swift fans.

In September, the Gannett press group, which notably owns the daily newspaper

USA Today

, was looking for a specialized journalist to follow the singer on a daily basis.

Although these positions may seem far-fetched, they are nonetheless relevant.

In recent years, Taylor Swift has become an international pop phenomenon.

And between his XXL tour and his latest Grammy Awards, his name is on everyone's lips.

Last summer, in Belgium, the 34-year-old singer even became a literary reference.

From the next school year, students of the master's degree in English Language and Literature at Ghent University will have the opportunity to study his texts in a course entitled

“Literature (Taylor's Version)”

, an obvious reference to the titles of his re-recorded albums.

A few days later, the streaming platform Spotify announced her as “

the first female artist in the history of the platform to reach 100 million monthly listeners”
