Quick sweet buns

1.

Process flour, yeast, sugar, egg and water in a mixer.

about a minute and then add the oil and salt and continue to process for about 7 more minutes.

2.

Add the raisins soaked in grappa and give another short kneading, until the dough comes together again.

3.

Form a ball, cover with a towel and leave to rise for about an hour.

4.

Roll out the dough to a thickness of half a cm, cut circles with a diameter of 3 cm and wrap them one around the other so that you get the shape of a flower.

Place holes in the mold and let rise for another half hour.

5.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.

6.

In the meantime prepare the syrup: bring water, sugar and orange peel to a boil and as soon as the buns are golden and beautiful, take them out of the oven and brush them with syrup to give them a shine and citrus sweetness.
