A brawl on a Rainier flight this week left several drunken passengers stranded in the aisles, prompting an emergency landing.
Passengers flying from Edinburgh in Scotland to the Spanish island of Tenerife encountered a police presence at the end of the flight and some described it as the "worst flight" they had ever experienced, which was, of course, recorded on the passengers' cellphones.
The video shows passengers being dragged off the plane, after some of them interfered with the normal course of the flight, forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing in Porto, Portugal.
A passenger who described the flight as "the worst of his life", recorded scenes from the fight.
Rainier confirmed that the incident is under the care of the local police, after some of the flight's passengers were forcibly removed from the plane.
A Rainier spokesman told the Daily Star: "The flight from Edinburgh to Tenerife (February 25) was diverted to Porto when a small number of passengers became disruptive. The crew called in advance for police assistance, which arrived on arrival at the destination. The local police removed these passengers before this flight continued to Tenerife Now this is a matter for the local police."
