But is there a way to extend the flowering a little?
Consider these tips.
Many people welcome the fact that temperatures have been consistently higher for several days.
The flora also helps to ensure that spring fever is in full swing.
Among the early bloomers you will mainly find crocuses, but also daffodils and fragrant violets.
What can you do to ensure that you can enjoy the colorful plants in the garden for as long as possible?
Allow early bloomers to bloom longer
Crocuses bloom from March to May, sometimes earlier.

Among the crocuses, the elf crocus is the one that manages to break through the winter soil first.
This variety is particularly delicate and can be recognized by the fact that the outside is slightly silver-grey.
Crocuses usually bloom for about three weeks before wilting.
Consider these tips:
When planting crocuses, you should combine early and late flowering varieties so that you can enjoy the flowers all spring long.
Choose both wild and garden crocuses.
When buying, choose onions that are particularly robust.
When planting, you should also make sure that the location is optimal: for early-flowering species, this should be a sunny spot.
Of course, it helps to be extra careful when walking on the lawn.
Because a crocus does not recover once it has been kicked over.

Is it possible to prolong flowering by bringing crocuses indoors?
Unfortunately, you won't have lasting success with this, as the flowering period will be shortened.
If cut, the crocuses only last a few days.
If you buy early bloomers as a bouquet, things look a little different.
Cut them before placing them in a vase.
It is also better to buy budding goods that have not yet bloomed, as

Tulips in particular benefit from an oblique cut.
Also, don't change the flower water too often as this will encourage the bouquet to bloom more quickly.
