This was announced by the real estate agency Knight Frank.


    The decision to close this other page of his past and to monetize Freddie's legacy was Mary Austin, the artist's wife from 1970 to 1976 and then a best friend until his death - which occurred from AIDS in 1991 - after him coming out as gay.

With a choice that risks arousing new criticism, just a few months after the record auction in which some of the most iconic memorabilia, musical objects and works of art belonging to the musician went up for auction - scattered around.
