In the video, the 55-year-old can be seen working out with Danny Coleman, a personal trainer for the functional fitness company Pvolve, which Aniston officially joined in 2021 to help her stay active during her busy schedule.



"Oh my God... you know those days when you just don't want to do it? You just have to do it," said the American actress, who rose to fame as Rachel Green in the hit sitcom Friends.

"I'm in better shape than I was in my 20s. I feel better in mind, body and spirit. Everything is 100%," Aniston said.



So what did Aniston do in her latest workout video, and what benefits could this routine have on the body?



According to James Barr, a personal trainer at Fitness First, who was interviewed by the British Independent, Aniston appears to be doing a mixture of bodyweight-based exercises and compound exercises, including push-ups, mountain climbing movements with special sliders and leg extensions with ankle weights.



"Bodyweight, or calisthenics, is a type of exercise that involves using your own body weight for resistance," Barr said.

"This is done to help develop strength, flexibility and endurance. It is related to body weight exercises, which can include exercises such as push-ups, pull-ups, squats and a variety of abdominal exercises."
