It is almost 4 p.m. this Tuesday when, under a clear sky, the guests arrive in dribs and drabs in front of the doors of the Théâtre Libre.
It is in the heart of this legendary Parisian performance hall that Kévin Germanier decided to present his fall-winter 2024-2025 collection.
In this very Parisian setting, we still detect a London “je-ne-sais-quoi”.
Perhaps this sartorial eccentricity advocated by the guests who unknowingly set the tone for the designer's new collection called “Les Épineuses”.

For Kevin Germanier, a 32-year-old Swiss, there is nothing like eco-responsible fashion to enhance a wardrobe with glamorous codes.
He proved it once again this February 27 with the appearance of the first model who is none other than the Grande Dame, star of the French drag scene, dressed in a tight, eco-responsible jumpsuit embroidered with pearls.
Lots of disco dresses, sequined Opera gloves, XXL accessories or a multicolored feathered coat: the traditional fashion show suddenly takes on the appearance of a real show punctuated by the Orchester Ancienne Cécilia and its 55 musicians from Switzerland .
A rose and its thorns
In small terms, the collection focuses on a tribute to beauty.
The one that fascinates as much as it hurts, like a rose and its thorns.
The one who caught the eye of Beyoncé and Taylor Swift, two divas who have already been dressed by the house.
The one that breathes new life into sustainable fashion.
Designed from recycled, sourced and reused materials, clothes with feathers, rhinestones, sequins and pearls are given a new life.
“An exploration of this dichotomy, celebrating the strength, resilience and beauty that emerges from adversity,” explained Kevin Germanier in a press release.
Therein lies the designer's creative strength: always pushing the boundaries of craftsmanship, seeking innovation, taking care of details by hand.
Ultimately, making fashion an art that makes you want to be celebrated.
