Egyptian diplomatic sources quoted by the Al Quds network - close to Hamas - reported that there is "a preliminary agreement" to hold a meeting next Sunday in Cairo to announce the ceasefire,
if an agreement is reached.
The Qatari newspaper 'Al-Arabi Al-Jadid' - quoted by the Israeli media - said that there is a general agreement on the ceasefire and the exchange of hostages but "the details are still an obstacle".
Mala Israeli Military Radio, quoted by the media, reported, based on an unsourced report, that
Hamas would respond negatively to a proposed agreement for a temporary ceasefire and the release of hostages.
A proposal defined - according to the same report - "Zionist document" which does not meet Hamas' demands for an end to the war, the full return of displaced Palestinians to the north of the Strip and allows the release of a few Palestinian security detainees in exchange of the hostages.
There is no confirmation in Israel of the news nor other sources.
